Lesson 1: Greetings

1. Complete the Spanish Los saludos/Las despedidas packet. (You may use a friend or the internet to help you!)

3. Complete "Greeting & Kissing in Spanish Speaking Countries" Worksheet. Turn it in to Mrs. Z. 

​

4. With a partner, write a skit for one of these scenarios. Minimum of four lines per person. Each line should contain a complete sentence in Spanish. You can be creative, bring props, and have fun! You will present your skit to the class in Spanish. Practice! Practice!

Scenario 1: A young girl is spending her summer with her grandmother in Mexico and has not seen her in a while. Create and write out their dialogue upon first seeing each other in June.

​

Scenario 2: A young boy is returning home to Argentina from summer camp. Create and write the dialogue between him and his father the afternoon he returns.

​

Scenario 3: Mr. Toledo is having a formal (important) meeting with a student’s mother for the first time. Create and write out the dialogue between the two people upon their first meeting.

​

Scenario 4: A high school student is meeting his Spanish teacher for the first time. Create and write the dialogue that occurs between the two people in the hallway the first day of school.
